Members of AJE support public education in the Jewish community of Los Angeles. Your paid membership and donations provide scholarships for LAUSD's college-bound seniors, offer career mentorship to the LAUSD employees, maintain sensitivity for religious observances in LAUSD, monitor cultural awareness in the adoption of appropriate instructional materials, and create networking opportunities for all members.

Tzedakah is the Hebrew word for philanthropy and charity. It is a form of social justice in which donors benefit from giving as much or more than the recepients.
